Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing appearance.” Training is offered as a Virtual Class via Zoom or Live In-Class, in Cape Town.

    The Virtual Student will join the Live In-Class Students via Zoom & WhatsApp Video Call.

    The practical for Virtual students is done by appointment with the Trainer and done via WhatsApp video.

     

    Virtual Training:  9am - 11am (this may be longer if there is an in-class training at the same time)

    In-Class Training:  9am - 3.30pm

    🟩 PREREQUISITES: 

    Dermaplaning treatments are non-invasive and may be performed without medical supervision.

    Minimum following qualification requirements to attend this Training Course.  

    (Proof of qualification is required.)

    • Somatologists

    • Skincare Therapists

    • Medical Professionals.

    🟩 CERTIFICATE:

    A Digital Certificate of Competency will be awarded after attending the full training, successfully completing the Theory Exam (pass mark 85%) and the submission of 2 case studies.

     

    PAYMENT OPTIONS:

    🟩  R3,500 - Virtual Training using own Kit

    🟩  R4,950 - In-Class including DP Kit  (Milnerton, Cape Town)

    🟩  R4,400 - In-Class Training using own Kit (Milnerton, Cape Town)

    🟩 Optional:  Private In-Salon practical training will cost R550 per hour (CT, Pta & Jhb)

    • All training bookings to be done on-line

    • Once the booking is received, you will be sent an invoice for payment.

    • Payment to be made a minimum of 5 days before the date.

    • Course fee is non-refundable.

    • Student to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of non-attendance.
